The Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TUIK) organized a series of events for travel agencies in the Gulf countries. The events were held on September 30 in Kuwait and October 1 in Jeddah, and will be held in Riyadh on October 2 and Dubai on October 3. The events were attended by Consul General of Jeddah Mustafa Unal, Cultural and Tourism Counselor of the Turkish Embassy in Riyadh Mr. Metin Mutanoglu and a number of officials from the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Jeddah.

The Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Event aims to enhance tourism cooperation between Türkiye and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and promote the tourism assets of Turkish cities.
More than 20 travel agencies and hotels from Turkey and more than 120 Saudi tourism professionals attended the two events in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this event supported by Turkish Airlines, tourism professionals from both countries held bilateral meetings to develop new cooperation relations with each other.

For this reason, attention has been drawn to a unique culinary event where two different cuisines, Turkish and Saudi food cultures, meet at one table.

Renowned Turkish chef Ramazan Bingol and Saudi chef Feryal Alshahrani combined traditional flavours of their cultures with modern twists. The event was more than just a cooking show, it was a celebration of the cultural and culinary ties between the two countries. Participants had the opportunity to witness the rich and deeply rooted flavours of Turkish cuisine and the authentic local tastes of Saudi cuisine.
