The Thai Tourism and National Heritage Authority (TAT) is targeting the Saudi market, aiming to double the number of Saudi visitors next year 2024.
The authority expects the number of Saudi tourists to Thailand to reach 300,000 tourists during the year, compared to 150,000 Saudi visitors in the current year 2024.

She said that Saudi Arabia is an important market for Thai tourism, and hopes to compensate for some of the decline in the Chinese market by increasing the number of tourists coming from Saudi Arabia.
The authority’s data indicated that tourists from the Middle East were the highest spenders during the past year 2023, followed by tourists coming from America, then European tourists.

Hatsanai Chaisi, Marketing Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Middle East and Africa, said: “We are delighted to celebrate this special occasion with our dear guests, and we look forward to welcoming our visitors from Saudi Arabia and its residents, in an atmosphere of exceptional luxury and wonderful service that Thailand provides.”
