Morocco is preparing to host the International Ports and Ports Ecosystems Exhibition “SIPORTS”, in the city of El Jadida, from 1 to 3 April 2026, at the El Jadida Exhibition Center, according to the official website of the exhibition. This event reinforces Morocco’s ambition to strengthen its position as a key link in global maritime trade and an advanced platform for innovation in port systems and logistics services.
The organizers are counting on this exhibition to be a prominent international event that brings together decision-makers, experts and economic actors in the maritime transport and ports sector, especially since organizing this event comes in a global context that is witnessing rapid transformations in international supply chains and the emergence of new trade routes, which gives Morocco a strategic position as a logistical bridge between Africa, Europe and the Americas.
According to the event’s official website, representatives from over 45 countries and more than 6,000 professional visitors are expected to attend. The forum aims to create a broad platform for dialogue, the exchange of expertise, and the exploration of collaboration opportunities through a rich program featuring over 30 specialized seminars and direct business meetings between investors, operators, and various stakeholders in the maritime and logistics services sector.
Businesswoman and port expert Professor Kawthar Nakri stated that the government has prioritized all forms of transportation, recognizing its vital role as a lifeline for development, a crucial driver of economic growth, a significant factor in people’s lives, and a catalyst for all economic, industrial, and service activities. Discussions will focus on key issues related to strengthening maritime sovereignty and ensuring the security of trade, as well as exploring the future of smart ports based on digitalization and the integration of maritime transport with modern technology and advanced logistics services. The exhibition is expected to attract over 300 exhibitors representing various segments of the port sector’s value chain, from port authorities to logistics companies, technology solution providers, financial institutions, and international organizations, reflecting the growing global interest in developing and enhancing the efficiency of port infrastructure.
