Jeddah: Dhaif Allah Al-Mutawa
Marking a pivotal moment in the history of Central Asia’s energy sector, Turkmenistan has announced the opening of registration for the 30th edition of the Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition (OGT 2025), scheduled to be held in Ashgabat from October 22 to 24. Under the theme “Energy… Innovation… Growth,” this international event will renew its position as a global platform bringing together industry leaders, investors, and decision-makers from more than 60 countries, celebrating three decades of leadership in shaping the future of energy and sustainable development.
Over the past three decades, the Turkmenistan Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition has established itself as a vital platform connecting leading national and international energy companies, investors, policymakers, and technical experts, contributing to enhanced dialogue and cooperation in the energy sector in Central Asia.

The event, held under the theme “Energy. Innovation. Growth,” is expected to bring together more than 1,000 delegates from over 60 countries and focus on:
• Strengthening international partnerships for sustainable energy development;
• Exploring global energy transition and decarbonization trends;
• Presenting investment opportunities in the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors in Turkmenistan.
As the world accelerates its transition to low-carbon energy, Turkmenistan is actively diversifying its energy sources. From the Galkynysh gas field—one of the world’s largest onshore reserves—to its growing solar and wind energy potential, Turkmenistan is establishing itself as a dynamic partner for international investors.

The most important topics of the course
· Updates on the Galkynysh development strategy, including support phases for the TAPI pipeline and increased exports to China;
· An insight into the expansion of the gas processing and petrochemical industry in Turkmenistan;
· Offshore and marine investment opportunities in the Caspian Sea fields and mature fields;
Progress in environmental sustainability, including methane emission reduction initiatives and renewable energy projects such as the hybrid solar and wind power plant near Lake Altyn Asir.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan continues to implement major strategic projects that will shape the energy landscape for years to come, guided by a stable investment environment, legal safeguards, and a commitment to regional and global energy security. We invite investors, partners, and industry leaders to explore opportunities in:

· Developing the upstream and downstream sectors
Gas processing and storage
Renewable energy sources and energy efficiency
Technology and field services
We are confident that the AWJ 2025 conference and exhibition will foster new partnerships and investment momentum, strengthening Turkmenistan’s role in global energy markets.
