The Turkish Statistical Institute issued a report revealing the number of tourists who came to the country in 2024, as the tourism sector in Turkey recorded an exceptional performance in revenues, reaching $61.1 billion, an increase of 8.3% compared to 2023, and with the number of foreign tourists rising to reach 52.63 million tourists, exceeding the previous record of 49.2 million visitors in 2023.

Russia topped the list of tourists to Turkey, with 6.7 million Russian tourists visiting in 2024, followed by Germany in second place with more than 6.6 million German visitors, while the number of tourists from the United Kingdom rose to more than 4.4 million visitors. The number of Arab tourists reached 4.53 million tourists, with Saudi Arabia coming in first place.
