Saudi Airlines launched its seasonal flights to Phuket, which is its second destination in the Kingdom of Thailand after the capital Bangkok. The B787 Dreamliner aircraft, flight SV852, departed King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh at 11:25 am on Monday, arriving at Phuket International Airport at 22:30 pm local time.
They were received at Phuket Airport by the Deputy Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Thailand, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Khudair, and representatives of the Thai Tourism Authority, who presented them with souvenirs on this occasion.

Assistant Vice President for International Regions at Saudi Airlines, Mr. Mosaed Al-Mosaed, pointed out the approval of a flight schedule between Jeddah, Riyadh and Phuket at a rate of 12 flights per week in both directions, stressing Saudi Airlines’ keenness to enhance its competitive position and reach new destinations, whether scheduled or seasonal, in line with the radical and unprecedented development of its services to enrich the travel experience at all stages and to exceed the expectations of guests.
Saudia’s flights reach more than 100 destinations in four continents around the world, benefiting from its current fleet of 144 diverse Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Through its deals to add 130 new aircraft to its fleet, it looks forward to increasing seat capacity and flights to current destinations and reaching new international destinations to contribute to enabling the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by bringing the world to the Kingdom.
