Experts and officials in the tourism sector in Poland believe that their country has become one of the most attractive European destinations for Gulf tourists.
They explained that Krakow and Zakopane in central Poland are the first destination for most Emirati and Gulf families, as occupancy rates in hotels and resorts in these two cities rise by 100% during the summer season.
Magdalena Osic, Director of the Tourism Board – Malopolska Province, Poland, said that the cities of Krakow and Zakopane are considered among the most important tourist destinations during the summer season for tourists coming from the Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
She said in an interview with her in Krakow: “Thanks to the direct flights between the UAE and Krakow and other Polish cities, direct travel has become easy and comfortable, especially for families who want to spend a relaxing vacation.”
She continued: “Traveling with children is one of the challenges that parents face. Children get bored quickly and want to go to a variety of places, especially those that contain amusement parks and games. Families also look for less expensive places so that everyone can enjoy themselves.”

Krakow .. the historical center
