In terms of international travel, Istanbul was one of the most popular destinations, registering a 31% growth compared to the same period last year, according to Wego, driven by flight offers and a variety of tourism activities that combine Islamic and historical influences.

In Egypt, Cairo and Sharm el-Sheikh emerged as the top choices for Saudi tourists , with hotel occupancy rates exceeding 85% during Eid, according to hotel sector reports. This was due to the combination of cultural tourism in the capital and beach and recreational activities on the Red Sea.
Dubai welcomed more than 80,000 Saudi visitors during the Eid holiday, according to the emirate’s Department of Economy and Tourism. Dubai launched its special “Eid in Dubai” campaign, which included massive shopping offers, musical and heritage events, as well as free public transportation and parking during the Eid holiday.
