Tourism is of great economic importance due to the job opportunities it provides and the cultural and geographical diversity it offers, which promotes sustainable development.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Here are some of the most prominent tourist destinations that have been recently developed outside the capital, Addis Ababa:<\/span><\/h4>\n

    Hilala Kila Resort<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Hilala Kela resort was opened in 2023 under the patronage of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, and is located in the Southwest Region of Ethiopia, 450 kilometers from Addis Ababa.<\/span><\/h4>\n

    The resort stretches across the historic Dauru hills overlooking the reservoir lake of the Gilgel Geyi III Dam, at an altitude of 900 to 1000 meters above sea level.<\/span><\/h4>\n

    It features an architectural design that combines traditional and contemporary styles, and includes luxury villas, a conference center, restaurants, and a museum.<\/span><\/h4>\n

    2. Chupra Chorchora National Park<\/span><\/h4>\n

    It spans 11,900 hectares and is home to 37 species of large mammals, making it a natural haven for wildlife lovers.<\/span><\/h4>\n

    The resort consists of 54 suites and villas, corresponding to the number of African countries, with designs and names inspired by the heritage and arts of each country, highlighting the cultural, civilizational and historical components of each country, making the resort a pan-African village par excellence.<\/span><\/h4>\n
