Thailand’s Minister of Tourism, Surawong, indicated that travel to his country is safe and that the country’s tourist destinations were not damaged in the wake of the devastating earthquake in the region. He confirmed that no tourists were injured and no tourist attractions were affected.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The minister said, “Travel, hotels, and events are operating normally. Inspections are ongoing to ensure safety. The tourist police are monitoring key sites. There are no flight cancellations,” according to Al Arabiya.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
